We’ve all experienced it:
When your usually well-behaved skin turns all rebellious with blemishes and dryness appearing for no reason.
Sudden spots.
Dry ‘tight’ feeling even though you are moisturising as usual.

How infuriating! Especially as your skin will play up when you need it to look its best.
This post is gives you some practical tips to return your skin back to its former glory:

1. Are you drinking enough water? (Tea does not count!) Dehydration can cause spots through a build up of toxins that aren’t getting flushed out. Drink eight glasses of water daily, your skin deserves it.

2. Are you exfoliating regularly? It is essential to slough off the dead skin cells. Otherwise you are wasting your moisturiser by hydrating dead skin cells while your living cells underneath remain parched. Not to forget that clogged pores can lead to breakouts. 3. Are your products old? Make-up and skincare products all have expiry dates. Check on all your products for a symbol of a tub, with, for example, 12M next to it. That is how long the product can last safely. If you cannot remember when you bought it do you want to put it on your face? Thought not.

4. Are your brushes clean? As in freshly washed? You can use the Mary Kay Brush Cleaner  or at the very least wash with baby shampoo and allow to air dry overnight.
